Paying with a Chip Card

Paying with a chip card is easy. Follow the steps below to complete your transaction:

  1. Insert card faceup, chip end first
  2. Leave your card inserted during the entire transaction
  3. Sign your name or enter your PIN as needed
  4. Remove your card when prompted

Chip cards do not change the way you pay online or over the phone. When using at an ATM, you may be prompted to leave the card in the machine or to re-insert your card.

Don’t have a chip card yet? Once your existing card expires your new card will be replaced with a chip card.
